Not a Big Agency. A Personal Approach to Church Communications.

When I started The Comms House, I wasn't trying to build another big communications agency. I wanted to create something a little more personal.

After more than 25 years serving in church and nonprofit ministry, I've learned that communication is about so much more than websites, social media, emails, and graphics.

It's about people.

It's about helping a pastor communicate a vision clearly. Helping a ministry leader get an important message into the right hands. Helping a church family stay connected to what God is doing in and through their community.

And sometimes, it's simply about taking something off a ministry leader's plate so they can give their attention to the people they've been called to serve.

I've Been on Your Side of the Table

I've spent much of my life serving on church teams, leading creative and communications ministries, helping plant a church, and navigating the realities of ministry leadership.

I know what it's like to juggle Sunday services, upcoming events, last-minute changes, ministry requests, and a communications calendar that never seems to slow down.

I also know how easy it is for communications to become one more thing demanding your attention.

And I've seen what happens when communication is clear, thoughtful, and connected to the mission of the church.

People know where to go. They understand what's happening. They feel invited to participate. And ministry leaders have more room to focus on what matters most.

A Different Kind of Partnership

The Comms House isn't a large agency with layers of account managers and departments.

It's a relational communications company built around the belief that the people doing Kingdom work deserve thoughtful, experienced support.

When you work with The Comms House, you're not just handing off a list of tasks.

You're gaining a partner who wants to understand your church, your leadership, your priorities, and the people you're trying to reach.

Sometimes that means developing a clear communications strategy. Sometimes it means stepping in to lead and execute your weekly communications. And sometimes it means providing additional support during a particularly full season of ministry.

The approach may look different depending on the need, but the heart behind it remains the same.

Clear Communication Is an Act of Kindness

This is one of the convictions behind The Comms House.

When we communicate clearly, we make it easier for people to take their next step.

We remove unnecessary confusion. We honor people's time and attention. We help important messages reach the people who need to hear them.

And in the church, those messages often carry eternal significance.

That's why I believe communications deserves more than simply checking boxes or keeping up with another content calendar.

It deserves intention.

There's Room at the Table

My hope for The Comms House is simple: to come alongside churches and nonprofits doing meaningful Kingdom work and help them communicate with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Not as an outside agency trying to tell you how to do ministry.

But as someone who understands ministry, believes in what you're doing, and wants to help carry the load.

I'm glad you're here.
